In the third inning, Team Anderson added to their 1-0 lead with a bases loaded walk. After a pitching change, Salinas hit a ball to left that drove in two more runs. The Conejo batters got their lone run on a Dakota Hernandez RBI single up the middle.
In the Bronze Medal game, last year's Gold Medal winner San Diego Show defeated the So Cal Tides 7-2 with Steven Fisher picking up the win. Phillips Evans helped fuel the offense for the Show with a leadoff blast over the left field fence. Evans went 3-4 in the game and also closed out the game on the mound.
Thanks to all the players, coaches, parents, and staff who helped make the 16U West such a great tournament again this year. Congrats to the Anderson Bat organization for their first 16U West title, and we hope to see everyone again next year.

That wraps up a great week here in Florida. Thanks to all the players, coaches, parents, and staff who helped make it so succesful. Congrats to the All American Prospects organization on their second 16U Championship Gold in four years, and we hope to see everyone again next year.
After over 2800 players competed in almost 500 games, USA Baseball's scouting taskforce was able to narrow the field down to 36 players who were invited tonight to the 16U National Team Trials in southern California in early August. Congratulations to all 36 players and best of luck in the coming weeks of preparation before reporting to Trials.
We finally got hit by rain and unfortunately the weather forced us to cancel some games. We are sorry the week had to end like that but appreciate your patience throughout the day while we tried to do everything possible to play your games.
Two storms at Roger Dean today have forced us to cancel all 11AM and 2PM consolation games. We will work to get the 5pm semi-final games in, but we are not sure on the timing of those. Stay tuned.
If you are heading home early, we're sorry we couldn't hold off the rain for you one more day. Thanks so much for a great tournament and we hope to see you back here next year.
