2011 16U Championships East Schedule/Results
Here are the RESULTS through the Championship Game.
Congratulations to SOUTH FLORIDA ELITE SQUAD BLACK – the 2011 USA Baseball 2011 East Champions!
South Florida Elite Squad Black takes the Gold, Team Elite White takes the Silver, and South Charlotte Panthers take the Bronze.
CCB Finishes Cross-Country Run to Title with Gold Medal Game Shutout
Northern Californian squad CCB bested Team Worth Florida in the final game of the 2010 USA Baseball 16U East Championships. The game was shortened to six innings due to the run-rule as CCB eased past their opponents 10-0.
In the Bronze Medal Game, South Florida Elite Black outlasted Team Georgia Blue 13-9 in nine innings in a matchup of two upset-minded teams. South Florida entered Championship play as the 31 seed and Team Georgia was the 25 seed, each making great runs to get to Saturday play.
Congratulations to all the teams, but especially to CCB, the 2010 USA Baseball 16U Championships East Gold Medalists.
